Hello Sandra and welcome to NeuroTalk from another Aussie. Please know that it's quite normal to have all those feelings you've been experiencing, most of us have been through the same ones.

I hear you about the Copaxone. I don't take any of the DMDs (disease modifying drugs) and I've been diagnosed for 34 years. If you are not happy to start medications straight away, then don't start. Tell your Neuro that you need more time to decide.

We have a very active MS Forum here with lots of wonderful caring people who have MS, or have symptoms similar to those of MS, and we're all here to lend you the support that you need. Please ask us anything you want and one of us will try to answer for you. If you want to vent, then we'll listen, if you want to cry, we'll comfort you and if you have funny to say,we'll laugh along with you.

Feel free to post about any of your concerns down under here in the main forum, and if you have something off topic you'd like to talk about, then come join us in the Stumble Inn.
Here's the link : http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum102.html

I'm sorry that you have MS, but I'm ever so pleased that you found us here.
