Default Question from new member

After suffering from a nasty head cold, suddenly, my fiance is only blinking one eye. He is still blowing his nose from the head cold, and has recently lost a rotted tooth on the same side as the eye that wont blink. He is also complaining of upper jaw pain at the "hinge" of the jaw on that side (Left) just in front of the ear (possibly the TMJ?) He can also only "force" that eye closed for a short period of time before it opens against his will. It is closed when he sleeps, and it is producing tears. In general, he complains of a lack of energy (probably from being sick with the head cold for 2 weeks), but his appetite is mostly normal. he has no other signs of a stroke or palsy such as drooping eyelid, cheek, lip, etc... He is in otherwise moderately good health. 42 year old African male (NOT AFRICAN AMERICAN) in this country for the last 10 years. We're pretty concerned, but it is late at night, and other than taking him to the ER, there's nothing open, and with the absence of other stroke symptoms, it doesnt seem to be an ER situation. Any help or advice, the sooner the better is much appreciated.
