Ooops, hitting wrong buttons every which way! Thank you guys! I got more online birthday wishes than I did in-person ones. It was an "interesting" week. My DD, age 6, had a viral respiratory infection and missed school Mon-Wed. She felt fine except for a barking cough and just about drove me nuts. Then on Thurs the school nurse called and DS, age 8, was in her office with a fever, headache, and sore throat. He ended up having strep and had to go to the dr twice on Friday.

Luckily we got everyone feeling well enough to go out to eat Fri nite at a Japanese steakhouse, where they cook right in front of you. It's lots of fun for the kids, and they have great Long Island tea.

But anyway, that's why I wasn't online.
