I am somewhat happy, yet somewhat very sad! It makes me own the disability now. Even though I knew what I was applying for (SSDI) it wasn't real until I received the approval, if that makes sense? My "shrink" tells me this is very normal for somebody like myself, who is used to working, being organized, regimented, great work ethic etc....just need time to process the changes! So for now it is 1 day at a time for me. (my issue is my hands..10 bilateral surgeries, so it is hard to find jobs that would allow me to not use my hands much or take a bazillion breaks a day!!

good luck with your SSDI also! hopefully you will get some back pay and if so, in time for the Holidays!!
thats what my shrink said to me to after 30yrs and now....
