Default RHS pain - Eye, Face, Neck.

Hello everyone,

My name is Andy and I am 23 years of age. Sorry in advance for the long post

It upsets me that no one has been able to help me with my health problems, which I have been experiencing for 5/6 years now. Hopefully, you can help

I wake up with a dull headache every morning accompanied with pain behind my right eye and a slight drooping of the eyelid. If I relax my face, I can barely see out of my right eye.... My eyes can be very sensitive to light and my ears to noise. This has consistent since the beginning. I also have a nasal drip and facial pain behind the cheeks.

I've seen an ENT who diagnosed minor rhinitis, prescribed me some nasal spray but nothing happened. I've had an allergy test, which came back negative. I've also changed my diet.

I eat healthily - lots of water, fruit and lots of vegetables a day - and I am really active. I cycle at least 100 miles a week and climb at least twice a week. Strangely, I still have trouble breathing whilst cycling, albeit I should be able to cope due to the amount I ride?

Now, this is where it gets interesting. I've been seeing a chiropractor for 2 months now. They have suggested that I am out of alignment, especially in C1/C2 area. Also, my right shoulder is lower than my left shoulder, which seems to pull on the right side of my neck? Unfortunately, although it all makes sense, I am yet to feel the benefits.

My job requires me to sit on a computer for 8 hours a day. I also spend an additional two hours or so in the evening. Could this be the problem? I am right handed - Overuse of the right side of my body? Computer use has been consistent for 5/6 years due to university and this job.

Thanks for listening and I hope you are in good health

Andy.
