Hello everyone.... New to this web site and posting on these forums so please correct me if I've made a mistake or direct me elsewhere within the community if you think I'll receive better feedback

I have RSD/CRPS and Ketamine infusions aren't an option for me as of now since #1 my insurance doesn't cover them (wonderful insurance-only thing it doesn't cover!!) and #2 Don't seem to be offered in my state, which is odd given we have some prominent hospitals - one being University of MI...doesn't matter because I can't travel out of state and pay so not an option at the moment. Hopefully sometime in near future....

My question? Can any and everyone who has experience with Lidocaine IV Infusions share their experience? I've heard of multiple people say that they get them regularly--some inpatient and I'd like more info as I know my insurance will pay for this. The reason I've been a little confused by this, and hopefully someone has experienced it or heard of it (if you do a search on the net you will see a couple options on Lidocaine IV infusions. I did undergo a set of 3. Infusion was outpatient, IV ran for 40 minutes-amount of time it took bag to empty, and they increased dose after the 1st and 2nd. Found them to be of some help and my doctor put me on Mexilitene...with the warning that most people cannot handle them stomach-wise as the nausea is horrendous (for those affected which is most and included me). Mexilitene is basically an oral form of Lidocaine or should I say is oral pill and med has same properties as Lidocaine. A lot going on in life at the time I did the 3 infusions and I forgot to ask at last follow up about inpatient infusions. Help?!
