If there is any chance you might have RSD like symptoms Jamy get a nerve block. I had some of the symptoms when I went in for surgery, but my surgeon and I talked ourselves out of the block, and now I have RSD.
Make sure you have lots of pillows for when you are home. Also a recliner was a must for me, I could not sleep in the bed for almost a month.
