That was some fall! You poor thing. I'm sorry - I don't have any experience with the rib/lung issue - just wanted you to know how sorry I am for you! I too took a misstep and ended up falling on my right hip and hand. I herniated 2 discs in my lower back and one at C5,6 and tore my rotator cuff. Many surgeries later I am even worse off.
