Cody,

It sounds like your "Really good attorney" is leaving you out in the cold. He should be going to bat for you. You should not have to deal with all of the roadblocks by yourself.

Even really good attorneys often do not understand concussion. They do best with injuries that are visible or imageable or can be assessed by range of motion and strength testing.

As Dr Phil says, "How's that (attorney) working for you?"

You need better help and advice.

Your doctor and attorney both need to watch the "You Look Great" videos on YouTube. Have you watched them? All six of them?

You say you won your case back in July? Did your attorney have you sign a final claim/settlement release? Has FedEx been 'off the hook' since then?

Work Comp is intended to stay with you until you have returned to the work-force or been retrained for another job. Signing a settlement release before finishing your rehabilitation/healing can be problematic, unless FedEx has agreed to continue paying until you are fully rehabbed.

Is your doctor still the Industrial Doctor? Do you have medical insurance coverage to see your own doctor?
