I just had NIH confirm a diagnosis of Cadasil Disease for me after seven years. And even though there are no medications and no cures I am under no threat of dying any sooner than my mother did at 96...which might be one of the main drawbacks of the disease. I don't know anybody who wants to live that long. At any rate, I try not to write about myself, and just want you to know that a lot of us know what it is like not having a DX, keep the faith, not knowing isn't fatal. Yet.
