Heres my questions. I have a TMJ bad. I have a jaw that deviates & can lock. It is on my right side where the pain radiates. Could TN be caused by a blocked or irritated nerve coming from my jaw that deviates?

Thank you
Hi Mindyandy .. I had omost the same exact pain. They first sent me to an oral surgeon to check for TMJ, but in the end he decided i did not have TMJ. So my next step was a neurologist.

I suggest seeing a neurologist to get an opinion about it being TN. The pain could get worse so i suggest getting an opinion from a doctor asap! Mine felt like it was all my teeth and jaw. It was stabbing pain, omost like a knife coming through my face.

Let me know if you need any info!
