Default Re: nook

I have the first Nook put out. It is fantastic, and it is the one device that I actually learned how to operate. I hate techy stuff, but this one I am hooked on. I take it where ever I go, and the cover has room for cards and money. The only thing I don't like about it, is that the surface of the reader does get small tiny scratches on it. They don't show while you read, but you can see them at an angle. If you purchase one of these, get a see through cover for it. They did not make them when I first got the nook. I chose that one, because I didn't need the ones with apps, or all the extras. The new nooks have color, if you read magazines, or study maps. The resolution for maps and pictures is not that good on my origional Nook. The new ones have higher resolution, and offer more but are more complicated to use. ginnie
