you can play it by ear. when it is time to go to work, see how you feel.
if you are still upset, or haven't slept enough due to being upset... etc... you get to call in sick.
otherwise, you might feel ok/good about going in to work and dealing with whatever the important stuff is. it might even help you detach from what happened at home.
i am sorry hubby behaved in such a rotten manner toward you when the lights went out!
