I have the same symptoms as your dad, no matter what I do the burning/stinging always comes back. The supplements that have been recommended on this forum have helped tremendously. I also don't teach any more, I have taken a Management position and it works better for me, I am more in control and not ruled by the bell.
Did your Neuro consider a genetic link, I am waiting on the results, my dad also had a PN diagnosis.
