rick92,

Consider prism glasses like walking with a crutch. Your brain needs to work extra hard to deal with your convergence insufficiency. If your eyes are not converging properly, your brain has a very difficult time trying to stitch the two images together. This leads to brain fatigue and can slow or prevent recovery.

As pcslife said, this will likely give you your life back, at least to some measure.

I disagree with pcslife as she says "These days frames are very fashionable " LOL. Frames have been very fashionable for decades. Lately, there are people who have chosen to wear glasses rather than contacts as a fashion statement.

There is a very old saying, "Men do make passes at girls who wear glasses. It depends on their frames."

Plus, you can get the glasses with photo-chromatic lenses so you have instant sunglasses as the lenses darken in bright light. I have worn photo-chromatic lenses since 1971.

Glasses are just not that big of a deal.
