I mostly went to get checked out because I noticed that my headaches started and got worse when I was doing visual tasks like reading, computer work, and even crocheting.
I did not perceive that I was having double vision but in the evaluation the optometrist was easily able to split my image. I was having to work very hard to hold a single image.
Not having seen me before the concussion, they were unable to tell if it was caused by the concussion or perhaps the concussion just disrupted the way my brain was used to dealing with it. In either case, the vision therapy did help and got me back to reading and driving.
