Default Graves disease

Hi All.
Four weeks ago I was diagnosed with Graves disease. 4 doctors told me not to change my diet except to add more iodised salt into my diet (I hadn't added salt to my food for a long time). After much research, I personally decided to go gluten and caffine free to help with my Graves (and to be honest I feel the best I ever have since I did! ) . I have been reading alot of the posts here and it says to CUT OUT salt for Graves sufferers. I am totally confused. I'm 37 years old, no children, take 3 Carbimazole tablets per day. I was told by a dietitian to eat my high protein foods such as eggs, poultry and red meat.
Any advice would be fantastic. Thanks
