To start I wear earbuds and load up my nano with all my favorite songs. I use sneakers with gel inserts (dr. scholls). I use the treadmill so I can hang on and I hang on then let go, hang on, let go. Just to see if I'm steady. I do 45 minutes. Somedays I do really well and my head is ok. If the gym is really really busy then I can get a headache. I usually have one daily anyway so I workout anyway. It helps my sadness and I feel like I'm doing something for myself.
My Neuro said to walk everyday. I am going to be adding light weights this week and see how I do. I'm determined to lose the wt. I've gained resting for five months..lol
So yes I notice I'm happier and I feel like I'm able to do something for myself. This is very important to me.
