I was on Clonazepam for some time for my dizziness. One doctor switched it from Xanax. I woke up everyday feeling like I was choking and days goes terrrible after that. Never felt like that with Xanax. Clonazepam affected my sleep a lot which I realized later. I also had lot of vivid dreams when I was on Clonazepam and Elavil.

towards the tail end I also get aware of my dreams even now. Some days are bad and some are ok. But over all after quitting Clonazepam and Elavil it got better but not perfect. Too much brain activity causes this issue. Not too much physical activity though.
