How often a person gets reviewed while recieving ssdi benefits depends on how likely their disabling condition is to improve.if their condition is expected to improve than they will be reviewed every year or so.if there is a possibility of improvement than it's every 3 years.if no improvement is expected than i beleive it's every 5-7 years.your awards letter should have explained the frequency of reviews.however, because of the back-log of reviews social security has not been going by this schedule lately.people who were supposed to have been reviewed after 1 year are getting reviewed after 3 or 4 years due to the back-log of review cases.
