It should. You are probably in the 5 -7 year review period.

My award letter, it also states "permanently disabled." But, it also states I am in the 5-7 yr review period. The SS booklet explains what each review schedule means. Did you receive the booklet which details everything you need to know about SSDI?

I was awarded SSDI at the tender age of 55. I am currently 61 yrs young and have yet to be reviewed & don't expect to be.
