Interesting point there, Mark56. I do remember when I had my shoulder surgery PT tried heat (not ice), but RSD had set in and I could not tolerate it. My dr was thinking heat would "loosen" the tightness...who knows though?

I guess I will see. Thanks for the info, definitely something to think about...
