The oral surgeon at first said he would wait to do anything because I said I wasn't in pain. Well, I'm not in pain today, but my sinus does bother me at times, so when I said that, he agreed it should be removed. He thinks it possible to do an implant there. He will do a graft at the time of extraction, and I asked about cleaning out the infected bone, and he said he does that and prepares it for the graft.

It's $1100 for all that, which I thought was pretty reasonable. It's what I expected with anesthesia and the graft.

Now I just have to schedule it, and I'm, of course, NERVOUS! Ginnie, I know yours went well, and that is reassuring. I could do it as soon as this Friday and then have the weekend to do the major recuperation.

Do it now? Wait 2 weeks or wait a month??
