Do it now... don't put it off. It is best to have it removed before the bacteria spread any further because once it spreads the surgery is more complicated and the graft cannot be placed in bone that is not healthy. In that case a second surgery is required to place the graft.

Ugh, I knew you'd say that. It's just hard because I'm a single mom and arranging these things is such a chore!! I'll check on things tomorrow.
The x-ray today showed the same as always--that my sinus dips down below the roots. But nothing else looked bad, and the surgeon said as much. So I can hope that when he cuts it all open that it's not a huge, miserable infection, but just a minor ordeal.
So sad.
