I was going to suggest either Raynaud's Disease or some type of Vasculitis based on your symptom description and the road I have travelled. did you get any results back yet from him/her?

I know how it stinks to live in the queue of doctors searching for a diagnosis. they found fibromyalgia and missed the underlying hep c with me. as for the tos, they never saw the rsd/crps. it is scary, and you have to persevere by being your own advocate. do not give up until you get an answer that makes sense. it all being in your head is not a sensible answer. if the rheumatologist strikes out with Vasculitis and Raynaud's, then perhaps he will look deeper or refer you to the next queue. as I said, those would have been my two guesses. good luck. hope you get off the diagnosis merry go round ASAP. take care and be well.
