Default Hidden source of soy

For those of you intolerant or allergic to soy, please read this.

For weeks on end I have had brainfog every day and some GI issues. I finally found the cause. The multi-vitamin and vitamin E supplement I have been taking both state that they do not contain soy.

HOWEVER, looking deeper I see the ingredient is d-alpha Tocopheryl Succinate, which is derived from soybean oil. Since that is not considered to be an allergen, the U.S. food labeling laws don't require disclosure.

Well, I am living proof that the stuff does cause health problems. My symptoms, all of which vanish when I don't take a supplement include brainfog, confused thinking, ataxia, coordination problems, forgetfullness, acne, arthritis and lethargy.

I am so relieved to have finally found the hidden soy that was killing me and I hope this helps others.
