Hi JoJo,

I'm no neurologist or Epileptologist but this sounds like you may have had
a status form of an epileptic seizure. This happens when a person has a seizure that last for more than 30 min. and the seizure can sometimes last for days unless a person is admitted into the hospital and the Dr.puts the person on extra drugs to stop the seizure. Years ago when I was taking the drug Neurontin I would have absence status seizures that lasted for hrs. this in turn caused more brain damage. I then found out that the drug co. making the drug had $240 million in lawsuits because Neurontin can cause seizures or make them worse for some people.
You need to report all of this to the medical conduct board in your area and also call the Epilepsy Foundation of America at 1-800-332-1000 and tell them what has happened they can tell you your legal rights and support you with everything the Dr. has done. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Sue
