Some drugs used for urinary tract infections cause neuropathies.

Cipro and Macrodantin.

I would use cranberry extract liberally and some find d-mannose works too.

Continued use of fluoroquinolones like Cipro kill off Oxalobacter bacteria in the bowel. These complex oxalates out of the food we eat, and when that fails, the oxalates are not handled well by the kidneys and one can get calcium oxalate stones. Doctors don't often know this, so their patients pay the price later on.
