yesterday when i went to pt
she did a nerve glide on me and it was different this time
so normally it hurts most when she bends my arm and wrist back (like the hear no evil position) aka nerve..ulnar
this time it hurt the most with my arms straight out at my side and the hear no evil position didnt hurt much, a little bit but nothing compared to straight. i have been experiencing burning pain from talking on the phone with my arms bent. but it is not widespread burning. just in places inside my elbow, wrist etc.
ANYWAYS, long story short. she said bc it hurt straightened more it's from a tight muscle in my arm. and she rubbed it a lot and the pain went WAY down when i straightened my arm again.
i like manual therapy /massage bc you can stretch the muscles out with less irritation than standard stretching. imho. but at some point i guess i gotta figure out a way to stretch that muscle on my own.
