Finally I was able to see dr swArtzmann and he knew it was rsd in the first 30 seconds. I had a lawyer today at the hearing and she said it went well and thinks I will b approved. Since the judge didn't have the vocational specialist speak for the ss side at all. I've had kettimine injs that gave me a little hope but I'm not able to work at this point in time. Hope all of you are feeling well today.if anyone has a thought about my case. The first two times I didn't have a diag yet. Now I do with a lawyer. I don't see them deny n me this time. Anythoughts??

The diagnosis of RSD is much less of a factor than the limitations on your ability to work over the SGA level (currently $1010) which can be a fairly complex matter. Without a firm diagnosis, it is difficult for anyone to guess what to expect in terms of recovery, so in that sense it is important. I mention this only because many are confused about the SSD process.
One person with RSD might not fit the legal requirements of SSDI approval, while another easily does. If your attorney believes you will be successful, than that sounds promising for you.
