There is a book from the 1990's that discusses this.

http://books.google.com/books?id=YLE...rature&f=false

It says that high dose INJECTIONS demonstrate changes in body temperature, measured rectally.

Methyl B12 is the cofactor for melatonin synthesis, and therefore will be a factor in normalizing circadian rhythms that are disturbed. It is mentioned in studies on sleep issues, and circadian rhythm normalization. Body temperature is included in that I would think.

The daily use of B12 orally is not really "high dose" biologically.
The dose is high in the tablets themselves, but by no means is all of that absorbed, as it would be via injection routes.
