I just called Dr. Donahue's office and explained to them my situation. The health insurance thing is going to be my biggest problem. Its a shame that a health insurance with prohibit you from going to your doctor of choice, especially when there aren't any specialists in New York. Wouldn't the pay be the same? They aren't the ones driving 4 hours to doctors appointments. Its a shame I wont be able to get treated by a good specialist due to my health insurance.

I have had about 9 CT scans in the past 3 years and I am only 26 years old. THey were due to other reasons and I am also concerned that these Vascular Surgeons are going to push me to get these tests with all this radiation when I have had so much already. My doctor told me I am forbidden to have any more tests with radiation... I dont understand why they have to make these tests (besides an MRI) with all these cancer causing radiation toxic materials.

I am not sure what to do. I only have vascular symptoms that come and go. No neurogenic at all just vascular. I believe a normal person wouldnt even know they had anything wrong with them but I am very intuned to my body. My veins shouldnt bulge the way they do in my right hand... I dont know what everyone else does who travels to an out of state doctor. Any advice would be appreciated.
