Lightbulb RE: L3,4and 5 repaired finally after 25 years

The message is clear. I finally resorted to surgery after all other options were finally dismissed. I am talking about every thing from injections to medications .I was encouraged what I saw in this neurosurgeon's web-site that I went to exclusive NY Presbeterian Hospital(Weill-Cornel) to see him. I can not emphasize enough that You should use a neurosurgeon and not an orthopedic surgeon. Anyway he said it was so bad I needed surgery and he told me to stop playing around with pain management. I got the laminectomy(L3-L5) and it took only six weeks of walking and no stretching to be totally pain free in that area(Lower back) I suffer still with neuropathy in my legs and feet. I have burning, numbness and pain everywhere but their is no safe surgery for PN. Is there? Lyrica is the closest drug that relieves about 30%.

Good Luck to all
