Frown Am i entitled to be able to breathe?

I have lived with an unseen before (by my surgeon and soooo many others) abnormal moving rib cage. He spoke of it in teens that they would stop moving by the time they were late teens. I am 32yrs old and my chest changes even more rapid than i have ever seen.. Scary thing is i can't catch my breath most days.. If I lay on my side my sternum grinds.. if i sneeze.. PAIN.. My sternum has twisted and its all seen very evidently up the whole right side.. They ran a lung test and HUH! turns out i have amazing lungs.. but still can't catch a breath.. also a rib that popped inside (could that be anymore painful) and pushing on my liver in CT scan it looks like a peanut.. Here's my dilema.. One surgeon says "hey i can give you a life time supply of antidepressents and pain pills" WOW.. not how i want to live out my best years.. My new one says surgery would consist of removing all the lil bone things that attach my ribs to the sternum and i would have a chest plate and then i would have floating ribs and well that sounds dangerous... 2 months later i have not heard back.. I phoned they say oh yah he's busy i will look into it.. 2 weeks ago... I will call again tomorrow and see but..If there is ANYONE out there in this amazing new way to communicate that can say"hey suck it up you can still half breathe" or say "Girl you need to make them do something" At this point.. i would take anything offered... For anyone with chest/rib pain.. Are we just supposed to suffer? i know its only going to get worse cause i'm living it and it sure is not getting better.. also curious bout the risk that i could be worse off with such a major surgery (to me it sounds major).. Advice anyone?
