Such a horrible, throbbing pain that doesn't quit..takes your breath away, interrupts everything you do, including sleep. The one thing I wonder about this med is that my pain went away on its own, so what if this med agreed with me, took my pain away, do you just keep on taking this med?...forever? How do you know if it would have gone away on its own? Just wondering...for those of you who take this regularly.

That's too bad. I stared taking 300 mg once daily and it really helps with nerve hypersensitivity in my back and elsewhere. Seems to effectively dull the pain 'response' from tacticle contact. I'm pretty happy that I was prescribed it a week ago. As for eating more...mmm...not really. I'm on a consistant diet, so the desire to overeat isn't really there. Then again may be I'm not taking a high enough dose to get those 'eat more' cravings. Of course, may be neurontin affects your metabolism? Perhaps that's why people gain weight.
