I have health insurance through my hubby and life insurance on our house (it's in the mortgage that if either of us die it gets wiped clear) because we got those when I was 19. Actual life insurance I now can't get. When my hubby got Aflac for him and the kids the guy came to our house to do paperwork. He asked why we weren't putting it on me and DH said that he thought the wouldn't cover me, he explained all my conditions and the guy said oh yeah we definitely can't cover her!

I actually started looking for a dx before I had insurance a little but was told that if I had anything major I needed to wait until I had health insurance to press on so that it wasn't a pr-existing condition.
