I am sorry to hear that you have This infection. I thought however that it was curable. After three years, I guess I don't know enough about this infection. A friend of mine up north stepped on a nail and wound up with this infection. He got it on his own, not in the hospital. He was able to get rid of it to the best of my knowledge. I hope there will be others along to address this issue. I sure hope that a solution, that is permanent can be found. John had a lousy time with it, and I hate to have you repeting the infection.
