Welcome, Marsha. I hope you are doing okay with MG. If you want to know some more, you can go to www.myasthenia.org

There are some things you might want to know right away, in case you don't.

Some drugs, stress, infections, surgery, lack of sleep, hot and/or cold temperatures and other things can make MG worse.

If you have sudden increased weakness (generalized), bad shortness of breath where you can't breathe in and/or out well or you can't swallow, that's the time to dial 911. MG can get weak very quickly if you are in an MG crisis and it's hard to tell how things will go.

If you have questions, these guys are great at giving you answers and support. MG is a doable disease but you have to know as much as you can about it and the treatments available. I hope you can live well with it.
