Last hospital stay one of the residents kept insisting that I start that med. One of the med nurses brought me a strange pill. I asked what it was as I was expecting 5 pills, not 6. She said its your new DMD gauleena (love the way she pronounced it.) and I said NO! please take it away. When the resident came back, she didnt understand why I would refuse it. I said LOOK IT UP! its been known to cause melanoma (have a family history) it can feed hormonal cancers (i had a hormonal breast cancer) it can cause slow heart rate (my mom has bradycardia, so I have a family history) it can lower T counts (mine easily fell during chemo, and I am NOT doing that again!) so...you tell ME why would I refuse such a drug...oh, lets not mention that 9 deaths have been attributed to it. Sheesh! stop helping me!
