I agree.... your postage IS cheap!

When I was young we didn't have decimal currency in Australia, and postage cost sixpence. We went digital in 1966 and that sixpence converted to 5 cents.

Now, the lightest possible article here costs 60 cents to post (55 cents at Christmas), and a parcel costs the moon. I sent Christmas gifts to an Internet friend overseas in December. There were 6 items in the package, the heaviest being a T-Shirt, and it cost me $45 to send the parcel by the slowest, cheapest way possible. I have another (bigger) package ready to post to and I'm expecting to have to pay at least $70 for that.

At those prices, there's no way I can afford to send anything by airmail.
