I only drive sometimes and short distances. Of course, I had that absence seizure in June and couldn't drive for 6 months. Additionally, my last flare left my right leg so weak that I couldn't even push the gas pedal. The last time I tried to drive, I was able to do the gas pedal but not the brake. I turned around and went home. Too dangerous. My 6 month free of any event is up but DD20 is using my car to get to and from work as well as to run errands as she needs. I don't use the car much and she has a need for it right now. The downside is that when I need something I have to depend on her or others to get me to where I need to go. We are working on getting her a car so that I can have mine back so I can run quick errands and stuff.
