We tried using an alternate electrode (a typical STS 8-pack is $27.50, generic 1.25" rounds came $5.50 for a four-pack) but discovered that the lead wires for the STS are thinner than normal. We're going to try crimping the generic 'trodes to see if they'll make a good contact, but the system has been engineered to ensure maximum payout for the designer/licensor.
I am very interested if anyone has a copy of the full Dynatron STS Treatment Guide. I'm tempted to buy a full machine kit that includes the guide, available used on eBay for ~$1600- quite the investment for a device we've already bought. My frustration with the limited protocols we've been given is quite high.

From their website: "EQUIPMENT-Federal Law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, or dentist licensed by the law of the state in which said person practices to use or order the use of this device."
So my guess is getting a manual from the manufacture may prove difficult unless you are a licensed provider....but good luck!
