This is, according to portions of the directions read to me over the phone, one thing advised against, and it makes sense. Fungi thrive on dark, moist, airless environments. Her directions (and pharmacist) told her to go shoeless whenever possible, change socks at least twice a day, and she's cut the toe out of an old slipper to allow better ventilation.

I've encouraged her to see a podiatrist, but as she's on a limited income w/ no insurance, I can understand her desire to try this first.
