I have the same problem with the erratic rhythm of speech. My words used to flow like a chocolate fountain! And they're smooth in my head... but choppy like stormy water when they come out of my mouth.

I used to slur and stutter a LOT for months following the initial injury and I sounded like I had a foreign accent. Most of that is gone now. I still feel like a talk a little funny sometimes and the stutter comes back when I am feeling especially tired and worn out.

It's nice to look back and recognize that some parts have healed!
