You are probably right about how they wouldn't know how to handle the case. It's very complex and the results that came back were very unusual - even the doctor said this.
There's no doubt there will be compensation whether I take it upon myself get it or it's some lawyer. The problem is that I don't want to have to babysit a lawyer that's not doing their job keeping tabs on them, etc. I really dislike people who don't take initiative, especially in cases so important as these.
I will try for another lawyer, but I'm not holding my breath.
Btw, I'm 38 so I'm kind of young (so they say), and I have a lot of life experience.
