First off, you should kiss your neuro for referring you to a nsg! I have lived as a nsg patient all my life, and I know that almost never happens. Most of them have enormous egos and won't admit to being out of their league, but they can only treat symptoms, so he would give you something for pain (and to dope you up, no doubt), and you'd probably get worse over time.
