Few years ago there was an actual albino deer wild in the woods in my town (red eyes and all). Local paper did an article on it, with a picture taken by one of the neighbors who spotted it. The did not say where it was, to prevent hunters from going for it.

However, they gave full first and last names of the neighbors they interviewed for the article. Hello????? Name, plus town, equals about 20 seconds with the phone book to get an address. Bet the poor thing didn't last but another week or two.
