We got a different medicine here.
Well, you said you got beat up pretty badly. It could be nerve damage...the nerves that supply your muscles could have been traumatized. Your body could still be in shock from the incident.

...or like I said, it could be anxiety. Do you think about it a lot? Are you in a constant worry? This was my problem. I would have anxiety attacks that would leave me traumatized for days/weeks. I got so bad that I wouldn't leave the house, I wasn't eating, I'd take showers every 3-4 days, wasn't shaving...yeah, it was bad. My mom would ask what was wrong with me because my body would be shaking so bad it was visible.

It's gotten a lot better, especially since I'm on something to control it (Mirtazapine). I don't know about the medicine in your country...but if the physical therapist thing doesn't work, I would see about getting to a psychiatrist and getting on some kind of medication to control your anxiety.

What happened: I was randomly assaulted from behind in June of 2011. I was knocked unconscious for an unknown amount of time (less than 30 minutes) and have no memory of the event. CT scan showed contusion and hematoma of the left frontal lobe. I spent 3 days in the hospital. Diagnosed with Post-Concussion Syndrome in September 2011. Currently have Medicaid, Medicare and SSI.

Current symptoms: Brain fog, mild memory issues, problems with spontaneity, occasional spacing out, word finding difficulties, tinnitus in right ear and some other things that I can't explain.

Life after the brain injury: 4 years after the injury, I'm engaged to my beautiful girlfriend of 5 years, I'm the CEO of my own business, Notorious Labs, I've taught myself how to program complex games and apps which is a feat I never thought I'd accomplish and now live a semi-normal life with very mild PCS symptoms.

Slowly but surely regaining my life back.
