I often think that a lot of doctors just don't seem to get it when it comes to quality of life. I've found that for most that doesn't even seem to enter their thoughts at all unless I bring it up...same goes for the lawyers and insurance companies. I've realized that if quality of life is important to me then I have to take charge and make sure that I am making decisions that will give me the best quality of life possible...even if that means going against the doctor, attorney, or insurance company advice (which usually all contradict each other anyway...lol).
