We can watch:
1. in a large man made enclosure:
Honey and Lucky in their little man-made structure. Honey gets out and walks around then comes back in and settles down for sleep. She is restless. Sometimes they get annoyed with each other-- especially if one of them has a toy.
2. in the wild:
Lily and Faith -- Faith was born to mother Lily a year ago. She still tries to nurse sometimes;
3. in the wild:
Jewel and her two tiny un-named cubs were born about two and a half weeks ago.
(Right now it is 5 degrees F in Ely Minnesota. It warms up a little in the day.)
I like watching and listening to the bears sleep at night. Honey especially is noisy when she sleeps. Her breathing is calming somehow.
I like to watch and listen to Honey sleep. The bear center should get a recording so they can sell it to people like me.
